It all depends. The first thing we like to do is gather as much information about the product and its particular defect in your case.
At the earliest moment we assess your damages, we assess the liability and then we present a package to the insurance company. The sooner that is done, the quicker they’re going to get an answer. If the answer is inadequate or it’s not enough or it’s no, then we file a lawsuit and we try to get a trial date as quick as possible. We find that doing that encourages settlement discussions and encourages an early resolution of your claim.
